ROBERTSDALE, Ala. (WALA) – A special procession made its way through Baldwin County on Tuesday.
The Wall That Heals is a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and will be on display Thursday through Sunday at the Baldwin County Coliseum.
People were invited to line parts of Alabama 59 in Robertsdale this afternoon to welcome the exhibit to town. The tractor trailer rig which hauls the three-quarter scale replica of the wall will transform into an educational center to learn more about the memorial and timeline of the war.
The Wall That Heals is a memorial that travels throughout the country to give Vietnam veterans and their families a chance to reflect and thank those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. There are 58,281 names on the wall.
