‘Sorry Mate, You’re Stumped’: Bengaluru Police Detains Influencer Who Wanted To Trespass Into Chinnaswamy Stadium [Video]

Bengaluru Police detained a social media influencer after he posted a video on Instagram stating that he would trespass into the Chinnaswamy Stadium during RCB vs CSK match on Saturday. The influencer, Nitin Sequeria, who gained 50,000 followers after promising to run onto the field during the IPL game, was taken into custody by Cubbon Park police to prevent any breach of security at the stadium.  

The influencer’s posts, detailing his plans to enter the stadium and jump onto the ground from a strategically chosen stand, caught the attention of authorities. Police stated that the preventive detention was based on his viral post as he promised his followers to trespass into the stadium when the match would be underway.
