In Banswara district of Rajasthan, a 19-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by two men while she was returning home from a wedding ceremony. The perpetrators also attacked her with a sword, causing severe injuries, including the amputation of her fingers. According to police reports, the incident took place around 2:00 am on Sunday under the jurisdiction of Danpur police station circle.
The survivor, a student, was walking home when she was accosted by two men, both of whom were known to her. The accused allegedly kidnapped her and took her to a secluded area where they raped her.
