Local officials in a Japanese town are erecting a barrier to block views of Mount Fuji. The popular social media spot near a convenience store has gone viral, drawing hundreds of unwanted tourists and causing overcrowding, littering and illegal parking. The new barrier is expected to be completed by mid-May 2024.
