Killeen, TX Mayor to honor AAPI Heritage month at City Hall [Video]

KILLEEN, Texas — Editor’s Note: The attached video aired in May 2021.

Multiple community groups will attend as guests, including the Killeen Sister Cities, ACT Pasifika, the Killeen Korean Culture Center, the Japan Association of Killeen and Fort Hood/Cavazos, the Poly Mic Islanders Group and Siva Ori Polynesia. 

They will be presented an official proclamation by the city and Mayor Nash-King, and the ACT Pasifika organization will also speak and give a traditional performance.

This year’s event theme is “Advancing Leaders Through Innovation,” which continues the “Advancing Leaders” series that started in 2021.

The event will be held in the City Hall chamber on the first floor.
