The Commission of Food Safety conducted food safety inspections in different locations in Hyderabad on Saturday. The food safety regulator found violations of rules in several outlets, where unlabelled products and food products with expiry dates were sold. The officials stated that these eateries violated the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations, which are set for regular operations of food outlets.
The task force of the Commission of Food Safety inspected various popular eateries in the city, including Karachi Bakery, Clove Vegetarian Fine Dine, Creamstone and Bilal Ice Cream outlet, among others, which were seen flaunting hygienic norms and food safety regulations.
