BSNL Will Finally Launch 4G Services Across India After 12 Years; Internet Cant Help But ROFL [Video]

Founded in 2000, Bhartiya Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a government enterprise, first rolled out its 4G services in 2019 and has been trying to launch it pan India since 2022. While the world is moving to 5G, the company is late to the party, as it announced the rollout of 4G services across India in August using indigenously developed technology. The state-owned telecom giant has already launched it in Punjab. According to official sources, this new development is in lieu with the government of India’s policy of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat.’ BSNL officials have claimed that the home-grown network has peaked at a speed of 40–45 megabit per second in the premium spectrum band of 700 MHz and also in the 2,100 MHz band during its pilot.
