UP Cops On Election Duty To Get Special Summer Kits To Beat Heatwave Conditions [Video]

Uttar Pradesh Police personnel working on upcoming Lok Sabha election duties are set to get special summer travel kits. CM Yogi Adityanath-led state government has decided to provide summer kits to cops to counter hot weather conditions in the state. Each police personnel will get a summer travel kit consisting of first aid boxes, fruits, ORS powder, water bottles, biscuits and several essential medicines.     

Bhanu Bhaskar, the Additional Director General (Prayagraj zone), highlighted the necessity of the kits, stating that the rising temperatures necessitated a special kit for the policemen on election duty across different districts. “After witnessing the rise in mercury and sweltering weather conditions, we have prepared a special summer kit for the policemen who are assigned poll duties,” the official said.

The distribution of these kits is set to begin on Monday, with approximately 5,000 policemen from seven districts within the Prayagraj zone, including Banda, Chitrakoot, Mahoba, …
