EAM Jaishankar attends Munich security conference; bilateral talks with Antony Blinken

EAM S Jaishankar called on US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Munich on February 17. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the ongoing security conference in the German capital. The talks between the two leaders centered on the ongoing situation in West Asia, Ukraine and the Indo-Pacific. Taking to his official handle on social media platform X, S Jaishankar informed that both countries reviewed progress in bilateral ties. Secretary Blinken highlighted that US and Indian approaches to maritime security in the Red Sea are mutually reinforcing. The US State Secretary and External Affairs Minister also discussed ongoing work to ensure lasting peace, security in West Asia. The 60th Munich Security Conference got underway an in-person event from February 16-18, 2024.
