Best Taipei places to view stunning flowers

There are lots of places in Taipei to see flowers. One spot is at the Maokong Zhangshu trail. There are dull ice flowers from January to February, garden cosmoses from May to June, and sunflowers in September.

Another place is Shan Tseng-Chi Park located in a suburban area of Beitou. Shan Tseng-Chi Park was once a major supplier of raw materials for Taiwan’s ceramic industry. Later, the Taipei City Government utilized the park’s unique hillside terrain to create a multi-level flower landscape, intertwining patches of red azaleas, four-season cherry blossoms, and Silverleaf chrysanthemums.

At Shilin Residence Park there were tulips galore during a recent exhibition that ended on March 3. There were over 30 tulip varieties from Japan and the Netherlands, with more than 140,000 tulips on display.

Finally, next to the LOHAS park in Donghu, you’ll find an abundance of cherry blossoms. While the daytime view is delightful, the nighttime spectacle is truly extraordinary!
